Post subject:  AGC: channel separation = 0 *not always* honored

AGC bug report:

symptom: When going up sometimes the channels do so independently although channel separation is set to zero.

reproduction: Factory reset, preamplifier at maximum, set AGC to one band, channel separation and downspeed to zero, startup input level just below the level of the audio. Play audio with one channel being much louder than the other. Now the channels go up differently though they shouldn't.

When this not happens:
  • If the AGC goes down.
  • If you set the startup input level much lower than the audio level. The AGC then jumps up in one big step and treats both channels correctly the same. So this problem seems to depend on speed or distance to target level.
  • If block size is below 2048.
