I've figured out the problem with WatchCat. It's supereasy. Just read too fast. The text in the input box says that the < > must be included. I got it backwards and removed them instead. Great, but... The errormessages are quite the misdirection: If you insert your serial key with <> in WatchCat, it asks you if you accidently inserted the StereoTool serial key. This sends the user on a fools errand to try to double-check they got the right code. The proper action should have been saying that the <> must be included, and if they are, state that the serial key is wrong. But the lower input box for the StereoTool license is far worse. It accepts the serial key without <> and then gives you hell for it with all kinds of cryptic messages. I noted my mistake and entered both codes with < and >. 'lo and behold, all is well now. |
