Note in the image that the AutoEQ meters show action that exceeds the Max boost for the top three bands. Why does the boost exceed the Max boost setting?

None of them are over +6dB

Only 3rd from bottom is +4.5 and it's set to 3.

Three bands are exceeding the "Max boost" settings - not sure why.
11k band: The "Max boost" is set to zero, but is being boosted by 1.5 dB
6k band: The "Max boost" is set to +1.0 dB, but is being boosted by 2.5 dB
3k band: The "Max boost" is set to +3.0 dB, but is being boosted by 4.5 dB

haha.. by "top" 3 bands i was thinking on top bands on picture.

Anyway it's all relative i suppose. Best would be to measure them. I noticed same long time ago. I don't use that filter but i might measure them sometimes.

There is some relative behavior in this, so those values are 'soft' limits. This is expected behavior...
