Hello, I use ST 9.50 with winamp / dsp plugin. My goal : increase dynamics in brickwalled music. Recently I could treat audio files and save automatically them after treatment. I saw fast treatment on the screen. Now, ST reads audio files at normal speed and nothing happens... What's the problem ? Thank you in advice Bob |

For processing files quickly, you should try Thimeo WatchCat available on the Stereo Tool downloads page. It accepts your Stereo Tool key and allows you to import a settings file. This appears to be the recommended application and method for applying processing to files. I hope this helps! |

Yes WatchCat would work although of course a plugin should work as well. In this case it's important what the player / DAW is doing because that controls ST's speed while it's running. In the case of winamp for example you have to make sure it writes to file and not to a soundcard. The former will run at maximum speed while the latter will run in realtime. |
