I have enabled the OGG Vorbis streaming using IceCast in ST 9.40. When I enable the "From File" option in the Streaming section and in the Artist row, the track metadata appears in the Title column of VLC media player. However, on every file update the audio stops for a fraction of a second. In an MP3 encoded stream, the track metadata appears in VLC's window title instead of in the Title column. Also, the audio stuttering does not occur. |

I know this is an old post, but just to bump this. I've been having exactly the same issue and scratching my head, this thread popped up on google search. I've upgraded my audio setup and to simplify everything I want to keep all elements within Stereo Tool, including stream output. The metadata output does work to my Vorbis stream - as above, I have the same issue in that there is a minuscule skip/jump on every track change, which ruins the stream experience - in my opinion. If I turn off file output...it's fine. It might not be a Stereo Tool bug, but I'm wondering if anyone else had experienced similar and if there is a fix? |

Same here... with mp3 and ogg. |
