to get rid of the spam post's try to install reCaptcha it works great on my forum.

Others have mentioned the same thing in a PM (thanks). Does it really work better than the captchas in PhpBB? Because they SEEM to be a lot harder to read than the ReCaptchas. And they contain random characters instead of words.

It turns out that I had email activation turned off... I've turned it on now, I hope it helps.
