When I turn on "AM Signal Settings" and "AM Brilliance" I lose the "Web/HD/DAB clipper drive" setting in "Advanced Clipper" and the "Oversampled limiting and clipping" option
Strange! As in they're missing, or they grey out, or what?

They're visible and functioning here with AM Signal Settings and only AM Brilliance enabled.

edit: Ah I see your edit now. Strange indeed.
edit2: Can you show your I/O page?
edit3: my Lowpass Filter Signal before multiband compressors is greyed out however.
Yes, they are gray as inactive

below is the "Audio I/O"

Ah, so you're using a plugin and you've already tried enabling the full i/o framework. Hmm. Yep, I'm getting this in the VST2x64 too. I'm even able to enable "Lowpass Filter Signal before multiband compressors" like your image -- unlike in my standalone instances.

Pointing Hans this way.

I use VST2x32, I tried to turn on and off the full i/o framework, the behavior is exactly the same

Out of curiosity, is the purpose of the Web/HD/DAB slider just to decrease the level further than the standard Clipper Drive slider allows? If so, you should know that custom values are possible if you right-click and select Type A Value. However, some VST hosts don't like to pass keyboard commands. If yours is one, you might have to type the value in a notepad or something, copy, and right-click paste it in the custom value box.

If this is not the purpose of using the additional slider, ignore that.

Be sure to try different items in the Send to Winamp selector in the Plug-in output box just to make sure.

@MrKlorox Thanks for helping,

"Web/HD/DАB slider" I need for correction in most cases for lowering and sometimes raising the level

Used VST-host in RadioBOSS (does not allow entering from the keyboard (I use a notepad and it is good for me, I write down the last changes in the preset before saving it))

yes, I tried different options of "Plugin Output" in the sub-item "Send to Winamp" but nothing changes

No, the goal is to set a different clipper drive than for FM. Because you typically don't want (a lot of) clipping on HD out.

where is brilliance in beta17? I can't find it under "highs" tab anymore.
Oh! I moved AM Brilliance to AM settings, but there should also be a normal Brilliance setting which is somehow missing. I'll check why.

Edit: I see all the other posts; the "affects all outputs" is there as a warning: If you just want to add/boost the highs in the AM frequency range that will affect HD out as well if you're using both, because we need to do it early in the chain, before the AM and HD outputs are split. Similarly, the "lowpass before MB" would kill all the highs on the HD output, so we don't do that if both AM and HD are enabled. Anyway, I will check why the other "Brilliance" (without AM) menu is gone.

Oh! That makes way more sense than using AM for non-AM things. Sorry if I gave incorrect advice, folks.

I did come across some things that could use fixing/QOL in the UI though. So it wasn't a total waste of effort.

BETA019 is posted!

The most important new feature in this version is (very, very preliminary) RIST support. If anyone wants to test it, please do!

Using RIST in BETA019
MicroMPX supports RIST, but it's disabled by default, and there are no RIST settings available in the software itself. Upon startup, MicroMPX or Stereo Tool will check for a file called ".rist" in the active directory. If that file exists, it will perform the RIST code path, otherwise it takes the normal code path.

When using RIST, it is currently not possible to change any settings. So you cannot change a port number, for example. Turning a port off also doesn't work. Doing so leads to undefined behavior, potentially crashes. So if you want to test RIST, *first* set all the settings as they should be, then close the software, create the .rist file, and start it again.

The port number for FIRST must be an even number. We don't yet have a way to request connections from the decoder side, so all it does at this point is add a wrapper (which adds a bit of bandwidth), but most importantly this should greatly improve packet loss recovery. My own local tests showed that I had audio playing (for a few seconds at least) with 80% packet loss.

Thanks
