BETA048 is posted! Among other (mostly small) changes, several people have asked us to add support for loopback audio interfaces (use an existing sound card output as an input); this may be usable to get rid of virtual cables. To support that, we had to update PortAudio to a new (not yet released) version. Looking at PortAudio's change log, all the changes look good, so I expect that if anything, the stability of the I/O will improve. But this is a risky change.

Please let us know if you see any changes in sound card I/O (non-ASIO, non-Jack - they both don't use PortAudio).

If there are no problems we'll keep this new version. I also saw that it now supports PulseAudio, so we can add support for that as well.

That's on the todo list... But takes more work. After the NAB.

I'm excited about this so I can dump this Blue VO!CE processor in my DAC.
However, the ability to set out-of-range values in this current beta is a QOL game-changer for me.

My Autohotkey script to assign the Simple clipper to Windows' volume percentage can now mute when going down to 0 (instead of being locked to a 10% minimum). Add to that my (obviously) insane values for driving this new Adaptive compressor, and lowering the threshold of the Sub-bass boost, and I've got less friction than ever!

Hi Hans,
are you planning to release an official version of 10.22 in the next days/weeks?

Yes, I want to release it this week (I'm flying to the US for the NAB Show - and the solar eclipse! - this weekend and I want to have it released before then).

The 10.30 release candidate build is running. But I want to show you a preview of what's coming in 10.31! RDS2 logo is working!

BETA051 (release candidate!) is posted. We've reverted to the older PortAudio version because someone reported a crash; those of you who noticed that the new version allows for lower latencies will need to increase them again- for now. The first 10.31 beta which I intend to post later today will have the new PortAudio version, and also new IceCast version - and if I finish it in time RDS2 logo support.

Does anyone have a download link to v10.30? The main one on the website still seems to link to v10.21. I'm after the 64-bit standalone executable for ARM64/Raspberry Pi (ALSA)

Many thanks!

EDIT: Sorry, I must have missed the bit about the build process running. Must have been the excitement of seeing the announcement, so I'll wait for it to complete! Thanks!
