Do you have a monitor connected to the Pi? Because then you can at least see what it's doing. Without that, if it doesn't work it's impossible to figure out why.

I've now tried the image on a Pi3 with HiFi berry but still no luck, I'm using the correct image. Without having access to the Pi I can't check its IP via Eth0, I changed my PC to 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 but don't get a ping from 192.168.1.50.
That was just an example. Your pi's IP will be different.

If you connect a monitor, it should display the IP address below the Thimeo logo. (Only if it has been able to get one fast enough).

I’m away for a few weeks so can’t play at the moment but I think I now see how it work!
The pi is connected to a network with DHCP to get its IP, the pi then runs and another device on the same subnet is used to view a web page using this IP to connect via a browser.
The pi itself has no GUI but displays text as to what it’s doing.
I’ve used devices like this before and it would be good way of working but most in the past have had a fixed IP which can be modified.

I’m hoping to build a stand alone audio processor if I can get it working, I’ll let you know how things go on my return.

OK back at home, I've rebuilt the pi and checked the soundcard which is a Hi Berry, when looking at the monitor it no longer errors on sound card.
There' no display of the IP address however when I interrogate my router I find it at 192.168.0.92, I've tried chrome and edge but no connection.

Hopefully you can see the images showing my PC IP and a ping to the Pi, Pi image and no connection image.

Add :8080 to the address in the browser, that should do it.
