Do you have any experience with RIST now as well? Since you mentioned that in the other post.

Yes, but the thing is: The Windows-App (ristsender.exe) that converts UDP to RIST takes up the CPU of a full core, which is obviously a problem of the Windows Build, Linux doesn't have that issue. Unfortunately I have no experience in building this stuff on my own, so I can't debug it. But I use also RIST on 2wcom Codecs and it's also very stable and they claim to be able to compensate for even higher Packetloss.

BETA008 is posted. I'm starting to think that the AM Brilliance filter might also be useful for non-AM purposes, if you let it work on higher frequencies. It fills up the spectrum. Feedback is welcome; I'm especially curious what people with hearing loss on higher frequencies think about it. It might improve intelligibility.

Suggested values: Frequencies from 3500-8000 Hz. Advanced settings: Measure from 8000 to 16000. (I know, normally we don't want people to access those advanced settings, but this is for testing). Please note that this works best on content that has not been lowpass filtered; it won't work well on MP3's for example.

For AM use, I have changed the default settings quite a bit; please make sure to reset the frequency sliders. New values are 1600-3600 Hz. The filter shapes have changed a lot in this new build; it sounds much more natural now.

It does sound a lot cleaner than Highs Exciter, even though it's not made for the same purpose. With some attenuation around the sibilances it can probably complement it.

BETA012 (RELEASE CANDIDATE) is available. I hope that all issues are solved now.

I'm using BETA012 - local interface. I've been watching for any action in the Intellilimit action GUI - never reflects any action, regardless of the settings. What am I missing?

Oh, hm. It works here, but the bars themselves are white. Do they show up if you change your background color?
