I've always found the default "Syrtho" preset to be a bit too neutral - so I've made some changes to fit my voice, format and microphone.

- Edited Noise Gate settings
- Added Phase Rotation + Phase Delay
- Using Equalizer to shape the tone further
- Using Analog Multiband, some changes to gate settings
- Using Analog Wideband, heavier drive

All in all, it makes a much bigger and very opinionated sound for a microphone that works well for a hits format. Any feedback welcome.

Using a Shure SM7B as well (tested through many preamps & broadcast console). Low Latency output used (256 samples, high quality). Adjust your input gain accordingly!

Unfortunately I can't load the preset in Pimp.
It is made on stereo tool itself.

Sadly, BIMP is missing a few things (PhR & EQ) so it won't sound as good. Not sure why it doesn't have those - parametric EQs on microphone processor is pretty universal at that point...
For instance, the Wheatstone M1, Omnia Voco8 and Sound4 Big Voice have both phase rotator and EQ in their microphone processing chain. Maybe a feature request to have that in the BIMP as well?

I can try to give it a shot converting it into a BIMP preset but it definitely won't sound the same.

Hi BagPttx,

Both functions you mention are included in the Pimp.

I mentioned BIMB (current 9.92) specifically (since I can actually try this - I don't have a Pi available to test PiMP).

If it has those settings, that's great - it should be doable to convert it. Just a matter of transcribing the settings.

I can't find my Pi, so I cannot test this. But there's an app called MultiVOC on the Thimeo website that has a few vocal presets that can likely be exported and then imported into PiMP. They import into Stereo Tool properly, not for the BIMP. They apparently use Advanced Dynamics settings as well. I only own Basic+AD+Declipper for ST, so I don't know what processing features the BIMP or PiMP contain by default.
