Still in test phase... I hope i'll have final version soon.. testing web version here... - better and warmer bass - warm and strong punch/kick.. - way more constant volume - well controled volume burst (when needed / when not needed) - posibility to push loudness more and expect bass like "other processors" without distortion to other sounds. - etc ------ In last moment i decide to include very agressive AGC. Should be not audible, but should give very constant volume. Also AGC now protects voices which are unusually louder in this preset. Attachment: Final Version
Attachment: - Final FM VersionIf you find some track that act strange, please tell me.

I listened this morning on built in notebook speakers. Didn't get a chance to hear much more than a little bit so it is unfair to comment. (It did sound clean and open to me though. Lots of stereo width?) How do you think this will sound at lower bitrates? (The stream is at 192kbps?) Hopefully I'll get a chance to listen to more soon! |

Heard the stream for about 20 minutes. Sounded good, in fact very close to what constitutes an effortless listening. Since I too have something similiar I expect your settings to be similiar. The trick I employed was in AGC Target Settings and Post MB EQ. Will wait to see your approach. Couple of things which I would like to compare and study... 1. In the 20 minutes or so I listened, the content was very similiar. I want to know how your preset behaves in dynamic soundtracks - most importantly portions which have sustained female vocals with really deep bass (like the ones from electronic drum pad). Example: Celine Dion - A New Day Has Come. Pay special attention from 2:10 to 3:00 2. I believe you've Bass Boost enabled. How different would it be to disable that and compensate with Post MB EQ? Ignore this clause if that's not the case. Somehow, in some portions bass kick gets softened - could be because of combined effect with de-emphasis. |
