Hey guys, could you suggest a nice sounding tight CHR preset for stereo tool? The idea is to get a maximum impact while preserving the quality, where possible. Like the pressets in breakaway broadcast.

Maybe have a look at my "Maximizer Wet" and "Maximizer Dry" settings:

They both pretty much emulate the sound of a radio station. "Wet" is more agressive creating a smooth sound carpet, while "Dry" keeps more of the original dynamics. But both are all-eating presets to create a stable, loud, "exiting" sound from various sources with various qualities/volumes.

They are not exactly the preset I'm looking for. They emulate an ordinary web-radio with light compression.
I want to sound more loud, and clear. Perhaps like RadioHLR, but not that distorted.
And I know I can do it with stereo tool. Just don't know how ... yet.

hi eurodancetest, you can try to use my latest version (v0.95) of preset Blue Sky, is clean yet louder.

I guess RadioHLR uses BBP...

Anyway, If you want, i can quick edit one preset to try achive what you want, just for testing, later can come fine tuning. (?)

The preset is not that tight and has dropouts in the mids in samples with tight bass.

Same as above, but very stable and solid sound. It's perfect for HOT AC, but not as good for CHR.

Here is the RADIOHLR preset I test now. It's Stereo Tool based, and it's a nice, tight sound with nice highs.

You may hear it at: http://46.238.25.211:80/mfm.m3u

Sounds messy to me, distorted, especially around 6-14kHz.

Offer something better.

I'm currently testing a GAP-based preset with some fine tuning.
