- Advanced Bass and Advanced Extreme Highs-Protection are switched off (causes the audio to stutter).
- Highs Volume Drop Protection is switched off as well - causes the server to hang
- Bass boost: Switched off, because I don't like it
You can turn off all that, Bass boost also, all is adjusted if bass is too much jus tto turn off "bass boost".
Only thing you should never turn off is "Advanced bass distortion protection" !

What is the Noise Gate good for in this scenario?
Noise gate is adjusted to remove very soft noise from some tracks. It's usefull since AGC and Multiband has big range and knows to amplify audio much. Should be good for many tracks, and not too much to kill some soft highs in process.

Pre-Emphasis for Lossy Compression: Can you explain, what exactly that does?
Pre-emhasis (for normal output - 0-30us) is good to remove peeks on highs. So you can push more overall peek level.
For same reason (and decoding/encoding reason) you must set post-amp lower to avoid clipping.
For mp3 stream enough should be ~-1.2dB
For AAC streams ~2.5

Okay, turned that on again.

Since we play quite a few lo-fi tracks, I switched that filter off. If there is any white noise, etc. on the original recording, I like to keep it.

Now I got it! :)

Thanks again,

I still need to fix some things, mostly in multiband. Actually problem is band 3. It's not counted in "voice protection" so i must add another band between band1 and band2 and adapt all. :|

Thnx Bojcha!

It's really amazing preset. I've upload an mp3 test, recorded from fm tuner, through mpx output of StereoTool.
Very satisfied :) Hear it yourself:

The latest RC sounds really good with Stereo Tools latest beta. I wonder how you could ever improve this... ;)

Cheers,
Mike

I don't need ..i am at about v46 of preset.. and new beta is out which gives me chance to define what bands will be in "vocal protection".
Already checked, default is 4-7 and for EU4ria bands i would need 3-6 :)
