Okay so I followed my version 2 for the time being, trying to fine tune for last two weeks.

Take a look at 2.59.

- Lots of changes to the bass, highs, AGC and clipper.
- Turned off MATRIX stereo for AGC aswell.

Been testing this on my stations program and I'm quite happy with the results, but I'm wondering what you guys can hear that I missed. Let me know!

WOW, this preset is actually a masterpiece. I listen to many online radiostations and some of them have terrible processing to the point of a few being absolutely unbearable. This preset somehow manages to make even the worst audio sound right. Very consistent and at the same time very open sound. :)
I'm making several bass changes for deeper and punchier bass and will probably use it as a permanent preset.

Oh that's so awesome that you liked it!

I forgot to turn off Release Holds, by the way, from two bands in MB1. Was experimenting, and it unlocks a lot of mids overall, so make sure to try it out without those!

I'm also very keen on seeing what you plan to do with the bass, make sure to send it when you finish it :D

v3.0

- Equalized all of the adaptive parameters for all of the bands, the results are more cohesive
- Turned off Sudden Drop Protection in AGC
- Auto EQ is now super fast
- lots of tweaks all around!

Everything is now very fast and adaptive. Testing it on the recordings of my station's programme and so far liking the results. Music really breathes and kicks in after studio voices as I wanted.

Hi Niv
Thanks for sharing your presets. Here's a little tweak I did of your latest, where I changed the AGC to just be 1 band. It's a more comfortable listen for me, but I know everyone has their preference. I'm mainly listening to dance/electronic, and only for home use, not proper radio.
Cheers,
Ben

Hey! I've been wondering if I should go one band for quite a while. This is such an interesting topic.

One one hand, having 4 like now, gives more room for pushing certain frequencies to the max, and it's louder and more "technical" in sound.
Having just one, on the other, glues everything nicely in a very unique way. A classic radio sound.

Purely music wise, I think it does flow better with one band. Signal stays cohesive, and does not re-balance every track aggressively, leaving healthy room for multibands to do the work.
What I'm worried about, though, is that at my station we have a lot of reporters who produce content without much audio background. They bring in often dirty, quiet, and raw sounds from their mic's onto the broadcast, and I always wanted to correct for that as much as possible. 4 bands help cover for that on the fly, if only a bit.

Thank you for the preset, I'll be doing more testing.
