I can't comment on how accurate this is, but this is a great sounding preset and nice noise shaping and dense sound. I have tested with a variety of genres and it does replicate a nice mid to late 2000s FM sound.

Cool preset! Thank you so much!

How’s it possible to make it a bit louder?

I don’t know if this preset sounds like an Optimod 8100+XT2 but it sounds very well and it’s transparent. Good job!!!

The song Angelia by Richard Marx it sounds weird, is like the highs goes up and down all the time. Something is wrong.

Ali, When you are done you may wish to look into what the optional Card Zero added to the original 8100A/XT2 > Card zero replaces the original safety clippers with two cascaded over-shoot compensated lowpass filters. This reduces splatter in the SCA region of the baseband and reduces overshoot and allows for increased loudness of 0.3db of that produced by the composite clipper while protecting the SCA region of about 40 to 50 db. This is better than any external composite clipper can accomplish. any 8100A setup that has this add-on will perform well within its +0.75db specification.

Hallo,

I’m a new ST-user and was wondering if this preset is working on a MacBook?

Yes, it should work on Stereo Tool regardless of which OS is used. I've had no problems playing with setting files on a Raspberry Pi running Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit.

Tested on several ventura radio stations... and so far it sounds great only on Progressive and Tech house...

currently is applied (and keeping it at least for 48h) to
Ventura Radio TECH - Tech House

CPU and LOAD bump with it:

on deep vocal house or club it kinda changes the whole aspect of deep :D

still can't find a solution for each or in general for Ventura at all....
