The Dutch Chocolate Moose preset has been built-in to Stereo Tool since a long time now. Many people don't realize that it regularly gets updated. I will start posting the updates here. This will also make it easier to track changes and check out older versions.

The goal of DCM is to get a dynamic sound with "fresh" highs and a warm low-end.

In this version we focused on making the sound less "thin", more up-front and a lot warmer.

Newest version Mar 20 2021

Excellent! I always wondered how these premier presets would sound with some of these new filter effects found in the betas. Glad to have this.

Hi Math, this is a great news. This version is included in the latest beta?

Listen from:00:40 and what happens at 00:50.
Also, personally i think mid-highs are very dull (~4kHz), while highs are very loud.

I'm assuming you refer to Auto EQ pulling up the lows too much in that section of the song? That's also what pushes down the mid-highs and increases the high-highs. I'm not too happy with how it's set up now, I'm working on that.

Edit: a lot of high-highs is also a the intention with this preset. Dutch radio usually has a lot of highs and this was made to fit in.

This version of the preset is for 9.53 beta 028 or higher. It uses the new "go to center" feature of AutoEQ. Furthermore AutoEQ's config has been changed extensively. Also this version has slightly more mid-highs than the previous one.
