Hi,
First of all: building a good preset is a lot of work.
A lot. Replicating an existing preset based on just what you hear is even harder. You offered something like € 60. Building a preset is not 5 minutes of mouse clicking, but countless hours of listening, comparing, adjusting, and listening again. If you want to find someone who really digs into this to replicate this preset as precise as possible, you would have to offer at least ten times that (my rough estimate).
I can give you some pointers though. I would start off with the Dutch Chocolate Moose preset. It's not
that different in spectrum, most of the difference seems to be dynamics. The sound you refer to is very, very dense.
- Increase attack and release times by a lot (x0.1 or so)
- Decrease the amount of stereo boost caused by the matrix AGC. The sound will become more 'dry'
- I think the bass band is limited (quite a lot)
- Make the bass band in MB1 smaller
- Maybe increase True Bass strength especially for deep bass
- On Rey FM I sometimes hear a lot of distortion in the bass. Probably heavy bass clipper action. Increase bass clipper drive
- Maybe use Bass EQ in between MB's to balance deep/mid bass in favour of deep
Find my quick-and-dirty attempt attached. Its sound is not identical but it could serve as a starting point. Feel free to use it on the condition that you share it here again if you make adjustments to it.
