Hi Bojcha,
Code:
Extra loudness - Voice vibrations - Reduce sensitivity for non-constant sounds strength=0
Does this mean that this filter doesn't work properly? (By setting it to 0 you basically turned it off).

hmm i am bit confused there, because when i set it to 0, it better reacts to distortion and better lowers bass.

v10 :?:

Where is the download of v10 ?
Here we have v8, v9 and v11.
But v10 ?

Or was v10 the built-in preset (slightly modified) in version 6.00 release (but with the old name Addiction v9) ? :?

Hi Bojcha,

This surprises me a bit. But maybe my idea of "when do you hear distortion" was wrong.

Basically, the idea was that if (high frequency) sounds change very rapidly, you won't be able to detect distortion caused by low bass. That's because all the places where I did hear voice vibrations, were when there were long constant tones in it (usually long and loud 'o' sounds).

So if sounds are less constant, I reduce the measured amount of distortion to compensate for this and allow louder lows.

If you set this slider to 0, that behavior is completely turned off.

When you say that you hear less distortion with this slider set to 0, are you talking about voice vibrations on constant tones, or something else? (like 'S' sounds etc. - noise is NOT constant!)

As i said, i am confused about that...

If i Set it to 0, i am hearing less vibration, and even meter under "Advanced Bass Distortion Protection" (which is at 73%) is actually doing something, knows to go under 73%. If i set "sensitivity" to 1x, 2x ... this meter stay more at one place.

Final Version of Addiction v9 preset will remain almost same with just few changes for both FM and Web:

- non-phase-linear bandpass ON
- From 350-600Hz Clip Below - 90%
- Prevent Artifacts in Multiband - OFF
