Hi,

I am using the -11 LUFS version. I normalized all tracks with -23 LUFS. Sometimes I get noise gate and AGC level warnings. Is this normal or do I have to correct something?
Thanks.

I normally use the input adjustment in ST to bring the average to around -6db on the input meter

Thanks. Where can I find this option? And what do I have to do then?

Do you mean this section?

Hmm, strange, I don't see "I/O" - I am using StereoTool 9.92.

You should be able to find it in the plugin section, are you using the DSP version? I haven't used the standalone version in awhile so don't recall that setting.

Yes, I am using the DSP-version for RadioBoss.

Do you mean this under "Plug-in"? And if I set this to +6dB I still get -11 LUFS on air (with the -23 LUFS normalized tracks) - or do I have to normalize the tracks in RadioBoss with another number?

Thanks.

No, -23 for tracks is fine. Just keep adjusting that input gain until your audio is averaging around -6b in the input.. Bojcha's preset will do it's thing and keep it at -11 lufs... Increasing the input gain is what will keep the audio into the preset at it's sweet-spot. You'll avoid AGC error messages and things like that.

Just one question - how/where can I control/see that the input is around -6db?
you should be able to see an input meter, usually on the left. I'm not sure again, since it's been a while since i've seen the old interface.
