For even greater clarity, here is a fragment of the original sound of the track and the same track on air at the station. Compare the sound.

IMO the audio does not sound that great processing it is a little to hard for my liking treble is 35% to 40% to high bass and highs are like 20% to 25% to high. When you get like 10%+ to much treble the in the background of the audio sounds like a decent amount of wind blowing or a fan running.

If you want really good sounding processing check out this one out BBC Radio 1 V1 is the best viewtopic.php?f=10&t=33634

If you want 15% less processing SoundReturn v4 is the best viewtopic.php?f=10&t=22849

If you want to hear BB Radio 1 in action check out the link in my sig to listen to my internet radio station Phat Beats Radio

Yes, these are really interesting presets! Thank you! But I still want to understand how to achieve exactly such a specific sound as theirs, maybe I need to pre-install something in Adobe audition before using the stereo tool?
I don’t know, maybe I’m obsessed with their sound, but I don’t give up the idea of implementing exactly the same one using DAW and a Stereo Tool as much as possible. No one has ever managed to replicate this sound, it’s so strange!

Whoa. That's really completely different. Not something that most people want.. but I'm intrigued. Going to test a bit now.

This is definitely not the same, but it's a starting point at least. A lot more tweaking would be necessary. But I hope this helps.

Thanks for providing the baseline starting point on this, Hans. After extensively modifying these phase rotator and bass clipper settings, I've also completely restructured the multibands, limiters and stereo enhancing from scratch to more closely resemble the compression ballistics, crossovers and thresholds based on a couple of videos of the IDT DBP and DVP I've seen on YouTube.

I'm about 70% complete with the preset, I still have some errors in attack/release as manifested by wow and flutter on some bassier tracks, but the EQ profile and overall feel are just about as close as I'll ever get them. There is a truly massive amount of phase delay and overdrive distortion happening below 100Hz that ST just isn't capable of producing, but in the original processor hardware it's honestly excessive to the point it's actually quite irritating. So I'm instead going to use a somewhat reduced amount of that specific phase delay feature, just enough to know it's there but not enough to "bark" the bass. This will be a close-but-not-quite profile when I'm done, and I'll post it when I'm finished.

I've heard this processing profile on several Euro EDM stations across the Web throughout the years. It just screams "French House" music to me. I've been considering doing a preset based on the DBP for several years and just never had time until now. I figured it would be a worthwhile investment to "port" this over to Stereo Tool as best I can and share with the whole community.

Greetings! Tell me, did you manage to make a preset with a similar sound? You said that you would share your work.

I'm sending the mix I promised. Tracks are randomly chosen from different radio genres, jingles are from the internet so that you'd have an idea how the preset will sound.
Software version 9.70. Preset is called 9+5 Impact HARD. It comes from previous, years long testings of presets.
You might hear a different bass texture, though there's plenty of them in there.
The sound was tuned for 0 to +1 dbr MPX Power (after tuning input levels). I/O Delay was consistently able to reaxh 110 ms for 4096 samples, which is individual for the given device.
The basis of the sound is built upon 9 band compressor section and on phases of each of the bands.
Hard limitation happens in 5 bands, which are preceeded by leveling compressors (sort of a section of optimizers), which hold the characteristic of the output from 9 band section.
Individual end-point compressor/limiter (Single Band) is responsible for the final processing and leveling of VU parameter.
It's function is to level the course of MPX (partially of course).

The file can be found in the attached link. Format AAC. Encoder: Fraunhofer IIS [Pro] HE-AAC v1 (16 bit - 44.1 kHz - 160 kbps)

So, since we're on the topic of The Pulse Radio sound, I have listened closely to their sound and paid attention to details
of what was happening in each track in individual bands. I have recorded the broadcasts so I could create preferential sound.
Then I have created a scheme for the next preset. The link I'm sending will take you to the result. (The previous link is
still relevant, there's a new "PulseRadio Emulated" folder). The tracks are sorted in following way: The first one (xx-01)
is the recording of Pulse Radio broadcast and the second (xx-02) is the output from StereoTool. Version is the same as with
previous sound (9.70). Take a listen and judge for yourself. The preset will definitely need some more work, but as a basis
I think it's pretty solid. Especially considering the fact, that I've spent around 12-15 hours on it, I think it's good.
Let me know what you think. ;)

Let me know what you think. I'm also adding a link to a video recording of a random track mix with this preset (Version
10.41). I might add some more presents onto this channel sometime later :)
