Good preset but i more like your Omnia 6 EXi preset
Honour your feedback. I myself have been trying to make it sound better (having realized there were avenues open).
Comparison as to better or worse with BBC Radio One simulator(or for that matter anyother preset) could be subjective. Things that go in favour of the latter are compression ratio in multiband.

huh, not exactly Orban..
With 10 MB bands vs 5 MB bands and without proper compressor after it ... and ...it just cannot be Orban.
Atleast ST always sounds cleaner
ST sounds cleaner is true. But if someone were to listen to the audio clips posted on Orban 8600's page, one might be tempted to infer that a sound that doesn't hurt your ears after extended periods of listening and at decent loudness levels needs more than just a clean, distortion free sound. For years Orban have ruled despite the muddy highs - because not every distortion hurts. Orbans truly compensate for that by employing that characterisitic punch and yet exceptional consistency.
One thing that hurts the most in ST is its current implementation of Stereo panning. In some tracks it sounds great in others, just unbearable. Reason being - it's not multiband. It should not act on the bass region at all.
I have always liked this aspect of Orban beside the harmonics rich output.
It's the highs which is where Orbans take a real beating.
Listen to that clip of Christopher Cross - Sailing in Orban 8600 page.
