So today with ST 8.0 and an Marian Alpha Trace as an audio card will I have the same quality as the Omnia SST?
No, because SST has all the extra features that I mentioned above.

I'm still waiting for a reply.

does Omnia SST have more RDS Standard implemented than Stereo Tool (PIN, PTYN, ECC, TMC, EON?)

can I get a trial version of it (Omnia SST) so I can test how it works?

Thanks for Anwsering and Best Regards

PS: You could partner with airomate and ask them nicly if they could be so nice and send you their RDS inplementation so you could inplement what you don't have
PPS: Will you still develop Stereo Tool?

No, I probably need to add some of those. Would you use these with UECP?

Yes, you can request a trial version here: https://goo.gl/nA64Sh
I will put this link on my site too as soon as the next build is released (there are a few things that we need to fix before we send it to large numbers of people).

PS: When you add TMC, EON, PTYN, PIN to OmniaSST you could add them to Stereo Tool as well
PPS: Anyone know any free TMC Provider app that takes Traffic info from web and converts it into apropriate format?

yes I would use them with UECP (and ASCII input as well)

Ok clear. For UECP the format of how you send the data is specified, for ASCII even things like PS texts varyper RDS encoder...

If I add them they will probably also be in Stereo Tool.

Thanks

PS: MicroMPX Encoder and Decoder Would be nice to have as a standalone free program
PPS: What are TRIAl limitations for Omnia SST?

PPS: Do you know of any good UECP Sender Program(I have been using some UECPSender (ep-rds1_2(http://www.xtcfm.nl/ep-rds1_2.rar.))which is in Dutch and I have to use it with Virtual Serial Port Emulator (and it only supports PS and RT and PI and AF) (I am curently using RadioDJ which doesn't support UECP unfortunately (so any plugin for that?))

Hello Hanz, I downloaded the trial version of SST, I would like to know if through the trial I can buy the full version? Because I'm from Brazil, I wanted to know if I did because there I would not need to receive the token by mail, which would be horrible to get here.

From what I observed is through token to register!

I have not seen the need to separate MPX output as in ST this does not have?

It does not have the spectrum parser issue as in ST, does the ST have multiple parsers, or is this Trial version not showing?

Another question this Omnia SST will be constantly updated equal to ST? And who will buy the constant updates?

I'm waiting on the audio card if it's the one indicated?

Hi to all.

I am testing OMNIA SST trial.

I want to try micrompx encoder/decoder.

I have read the manual and can not find information on how to configure them.

Thanks for your time.

I have tested both Stereo Tool and SST with both the Marian Trace Alpha and the ASI5810, both card work very well. The advantage to the 5810 is that it has true AES inputs and outputs, with an SRC on the input, unlike the SPDIF input on the Alpha. As my plants all run AES, including AES MPX to Nautel transmitters, this was pretty important to me, and as a result I'm currently running the 5810 at all 3 of my transmitter sites. Also, the 5810 is PCI-E, where the Alpha is PCI, and it's getting harder and harder to buy motherboards with PCI slots. And for the record, as Hans said, you don't need the 5811, they should have referenced the 5810 in the manual, not the 11, as the 11 has a mic input that you don't need.
