i'm new to all this... just feeling my way through it... and of course learning everything the hard way.

a friend told me about stereo tool so i put it into the signal chain of my meager online radio station. using one of the softer presets, i'm just so happy with the sound. i've thrown bad antique recordings at it as well as new hypercompressed modern stuff and the output (final output: encoded -> streamed -> decoded) is simply amazing.

I agree, I have to say "thank you" too. :)

For many years I struggled "remastering" my music collection with Wavelab and various VST plugins, and since Stereotool I could design my own presets which enable me to listen to/remaster the music with the sound design I always wanted. I use this piece of software pretty much on a daily basis for years now.
