Can any experienced user recommend a preset for Classical Music specifically the string quartet? I like to listen to the music at low volume, keeping quiet parts audible but with no abrupt loudness, especially when going from one movement to another. I like a clear sound, deep rich bass, crisp midrange, and fresh treble. I did try the Soft and Very Soft Compression settings. |

Long time without any answer... So... I think the 2 that you used are probably most suitable for classical music (actually in earlier Stereo Tool versions that was even in the preset name!). You could add some 'stereo boost' if you like that effect. And potentially some noise gating. |
