Hello,

We are an FM Commercial radio station. We have a satellite feed that has this constant background 'hiss'. I have recorded a sample of it.... and need to figure out a way to filter it out using StereoTool. Can anyone assist with a setting? I cannot simply play this over the air through stereo tool to 'learn' it, i must try and do it manually.

Please help! It is here: http://www.filedropper.com/hiss_1

That's what I did! I also had to fill in that code and then nothing happened. However I just tried again and now it works. Odd.

You'll *have* to let it learn this sound, no way around that. You can do it on another pc though. Just with the default settings and also the default Noise Gate settings, it removes about 80% of this.

Load the PNR and Noise Gate settings from this file. Note: This only works if all your other settings (including Quality and Latency) are exactly the same, otherwise it will do nothing! That's why you should really let it learn on your system. It only takes a few seconds, so do it at night.
