Hello all!

I see that Stereo Tool supports UECP. I also noticed an entry in the changelog for 8.00 saying that ASCII input is now supported. This seems like a nicer option than the file-based method I'd been aware of in the past.

My automation system (Rivendell) allows me to format and send PAD directly to a TCP or UDP port, or pass it to a script... so I have options. Unfortunately, I don't speak UECP, and I can't find any documentation for other formats Stereo Tool may or may not accept.

Does anyone have any example(s) of how I might format the data to Stereo Tool's liking? I just want to pass it PS and RT text, nothing fancy.

Are there more details on how to configure this to receive data from , for example, a Wide Orbit device server via either text file or TCP data? How would you set a file location for a text file as well.

thx

Greg
