Hello Stereo Tool Forum,

I want to upgrade our transmitter to this one: http://www.pcs-electronics.com/maxpro20 ... -2315.html
Does this model support Stereo Tool's software RDS encoding?

Thank you! :)

I dont see MPX input. And if you want to get maximum from ST you would need to use MPX input on transmitter, so not internal stereo/rds coder.

We have some of these as low power repeater sites.
You buy the base model and then you buy the MPX feature as an add-on.

I think it's called something like "BNC and RCA Connectors add-on" ... somewhere around 10 Euro.

That plugs into the mainboard and you can then connect MPX output from ST which is exactly how we run it.

Need to have decent calibration software because we've noticed that ST output vs MaxPro input can vary, but no big deal.

I can speak very highly of these micro transmitters, we have them in remote locations and they have never failed since deployment.

Not a single problem.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. :)
Yes, the MPX input can be bought seperately.
I'm going to test it in a few days.

EDIT:
Works perfectly fine! :geek:
