I noticed the version now available for Raspberry Pi, and it intrigued me for potential broadcast use for FM. Was wondering if a Raspberry pi is capable of 192khZ and generating stereo and RDS? |

Best way is to check what sound chip is on board. |

Not with the on-board sound chip, but there are others that you can use. In fact, some people have even managed to write an exciter including stereo/rds encoding for it (the output is a square wave though, so you'll be heard on many frequencies). Clipping is a different issue though, because clipping requires oversampling it seems to be too heavy (at least in my current implementation). But Stereo/RDS encoding can definitely run on it. |

Yeah, I think that you could use the RPi as a transmitter, and input the MPX to it over the network. I would love to try that but I don't know C at all. You could put an bandpass filter in front of the transmitting pin, and after that the output wont be square anymore |

Hi. Do you think a command-line version of the RPi ST is easy to compile? I am thinking of testing the Rpi as a "last mile" final processor for a FM network in Ukraine, and even with the limited number of processing/filters possible, the ST would still do the job. However, I would prefer to integrate the ST into the existing script, which is not possible with the standalone version. Best regards, Christo |

Do you need a version with Jack support? If not it's easy.
