Now,I got ESI Juli@ sound card.
Please suggest

- Which best OS.
- How to configuration jula@ and Direcwire for input(audio)/output(MPX).
- Which stereotool license for my station.

My station play mp3 with SAM.

Uh, for OS I'd probably suggest Ubuntu, but it's really up to you. If you're using a PC and not a laptop, an i7 processor would be ideal for fast processing of the music, i5 even. Not sure about your other questions though.

Sorry.

OS: Anything you like. XP, Vista, Win7, Win8, I haven't tested Win10 yet but heard from others that it works as well. Or indeed Linux- the Juli@ card works fine in Ubuntu. Or even Mac (but I don't see any reason to choose for that).
Configure: Depends on what you need. You might not even need DirectWire...
License: Depends on the type of music that you play and on whether you're going to generate stereo/RDS with Stereo Tool (I would advise you to do that, it can give you a much better audio quality). In that case, you should get the FM Professional license which contains the Composite Clipper. If you play new music that's often not very dynamic and clipped, get the declipper. So then you would get FM Professional + Declipper (349 euro).

Assume no MPX sound card for now... ESI Juli@ hard to find at the moment, on back order...

Does it matter for ST whether the audio chain switches from unbalanced sound card from automation, to balanced from console, then back to stock ST computer audio unbalanced, then into FM transmitter? I understand ST at this point is not generating stereo.

You can always use a Realtek onboard card... will give you a bit more hiss probably but except for that it will sound about the same as the pro cards.
