I managed to obtain a 500w transmitter and now need to find a second hand "cavity filter", to ensure that the signal does not stray of our frequency. Here in Spain they are a must to have or the authorities will jump on you.

That filter is not for "stay on frequency".. it narrows desired freq. If your freq moves around, nothing will help you, but other transmitter.
With "ok" transmitter and properly tuned MPX levels + Stokke from ST.. your problems are much solved.

You are correct. I need to ensure there is no bleed to the next station next to us and we need a cavity filter ad this is stipulated by the authorities here in.spain and need to buy one
