I use Stereo Tool for my webstations in Alaska. One of them is an oldies station on 90.7 FM and I use the RDS function. I discovered the PTY listings in Stereo Tool only match the European RDS Standard. I have to select Rock Music in Stereo Tool which reads out as Oldies on a US radio. Any chance a change might be incorporated when US FM stations are selected that the PTY will also match the US RDBS standard? For a listing of the differences I went to Wikipedia and searched RDS to find the PTY codes for European and US standards. For example: PTY code 11 is Rock Music for Europe and Oldies for the US. PTY 10 is Pop Music in Europe and Country for the US. Hope this info helps US users of Stereo Tool who utilize RDS.
