Post subject: | Radio text - one file read limit in ST? |
For a long time we've had RadioText formed from a combination of fixed station message text and the "now playing" info from a file. We now would like to incorprate additional text from another text file that changes hourly. But I cannot get it to work, so wondering if ST has a limit of only one file it can read into Rado Text? I am inserting this into the RadioText input line: 6s:\r"Path and filename.txt" I tried inserting this at the end of the input line first, and it caused a display corruption - looked like lots of text over-written (but it did follow an scrolling section, so I'm guessing it was trying to display that text concatenated with my file path/name instruction) When I insert it at the start of the line, immediately before a similar section for the now playing file, it concatenates this new file and the now playing text. Any ideas to fix this? Is there a character to use to force ST to separete two RadioText sections? Thanks. |

To answer my own question, for future reference! Yes there is a way to force ST to treat consecutive sections without contatenating them! it is a "forward slash" - thus: /6s:\r"Path and filename.txt" |
