Besides turning off the Stereo encoder... are there any other ways for ST to broadcast in mono? Tips? |

Way back in 2012, Hans posted this suggestion to a similar question: Try this: - Go to Stereo -> Stereo Image - Enable it - Set both Stereo Phase and Stereo Width multipliers to 0.00 Now you get the same audio on left and right. And not only that: Sounds that normally would be lost when you convert to mono (phase cancellation) are still there! I've used that tip ever since, and it works great for my little femto-powered mono FM. |

Thanks Doc! I'm testing our LPFM again in mono, but putting a little more effort into it. Last try, not much difference... maybe because we are also fighting a distant, co channel full power station. |
