Hello,

I'm doing some experimentation with Stereotool on Linux for a monaural AM transmitter. On the Windows version of Stereotool, there is a setting that allows you to reduce the output level to allow headroom for asymmetrical AM processing. I usually find that in: Configuration -> AM Transmitter -> AM Asymmetry.

Even with "Expert Tweaker" selected, I can't seem to find that on the Linux version. Am I missing it somewhere?

Thanks.
Brian

I went into to .stereo_tool.rc file and manually edited "Volume reduction for asymmetry headroom" , restarted Stereotool, and the setting now appears.

Ah. That setting is 'deprecated', you can set it also with the sound card output level. So it's removed in recent versions, unless you have set it on a different setting than the default.
