But I don't think I would need to go to that extreme. So, it works great - only with ASIO driver. Absolutely sparkling xmission quality.
Any other driver/API used, be it WASAPI / Kernel Streaming / Direct Sound, the audio stream is intercepted by the DSP engine and I get mono reception.
Problem using ASIO with this card is that Windows volume control no longer has any effect. I have to rely solely on the players volume control.
That being said, I am very happy with this purchase. Astounding clarity and power (due to the built in headphone amp) even in comparison to X-Fi Titanium.
