Hi all!

I mean, in terms of stability and transparency.
(Win10)

Thanks

I'd say that the VB Audio Cable is better, even though it offers only limited amount of cables. Windows 10 showed some issues with Virtual Audio Cable, can't really recall what they were though :D

Not at all - I've got VB cables and one of them constantly switches to internal SR=96 kHz. Which causes audible artifacts in audio due to WASAPI resampler.

Well i also didn't like VB cable, and can't remember reason why. VAC is really ok!

Maybe the reason is that, from my experience, VB Cable produces strange effects on certain frequencies? I did a sweep on a spectrum analyser from a digital source through VAC and ST (Bypass mode), and VB cable produced spurious signals. With VAC and HiFi cable (from the same writer as VB cable) I didn't experience them.

That's why I use the HiFi cable version; works like a charm for me.

Those spurious signals result from internal samplerate mismatch I was talking about.
