With the analog compressor having a signal just a few decibels above the threshold will be quickly compensated but being high above it takes quite some time. In other words going a longer way (more decibels) takes more time. However compressors usually take about the same constant time no matter how long the way.

What settings makes the analog compressor behave more like the previous sentence?
