Heya,

For 2 hours, I've been working on a preset to simulate a radio station here on the coast but every time I do something to it, I manage to just mess everything up and can't seem to get the multiband to compress the highs at a consistent level, or get the mids to sound right and all I can do is just leave it and come back to it, but then I wreck it even more to the point where it sounds really harsh like it does now.

I'm rather hopeless at this so if anyone can help me at all, that would be fantastic.

I've put the the original, the radio recorded version of the song and the preset on a dropbox so you can hear what I've done (if you want).

Original version:

Radio processed version:

My preset:

Cheers!

I don't know if i came even close to what you want but i at least tried to....
If you find something that i can tweak and get closer to the sound you want please let me know.

(PS i am not a preset or sound specialist. Don't expect the preset to be perfect)

There you go.... I spoke to soon .

I think that is even closer to the sample ...

Please listen to the preset and tell me what you want to be changed (but i think is close with the original).

That sounds perfect mpex! I love how you still let the highs breathe a little. Sound actually a lot better than the radio version to be honest. I like it! :D

Ok so just to let you know that sound is a result of very slow attack and release times in the mids and a relatively quicker release and attack time for everything else. And some limiting just to make it pop out. And there you go. BTW I intentionally left room for the highs. I think the radio sample is a bit Midish.

Have fun mate....
