| Post subject: | Custom µs in Pre-Emphasis |
Is it possible to create a custom µs value for Pre-Emphasis? I want to use it for a stream to get the benefit of the high boost, but not nearly as much as 50µs is giving - I'd like to halve the value or more if possible. I realize I'm not using it for its intended purpose, so just asking what is possible. I tried editing the STS file but that didn't work. |

If you just want to add more highs, I would recommend to instead use for example the equalizer, and place it at the end of the chain. The streaming settings also have a pre-emphasis value which can be set to any value you like, but that pre-emhpasizes, limits/clips and then de-emphasizes again, so that's not what you're looking for.

In either one of the Multiband compressor sections in the center section, bottom there is a section called Pre-empasized Compress - Pre-emphasis This can be adjusted in either Multi-band compressor , but MB1 or MB2 must be activated to be able to make the adjustment. I know it's been a few months since it was posted, but hopefully it will help others. |
