Hi,
Let's say I have a preset whose last stages are MB2, bass clipper and advanced clipper (Dynarider for example). What's the best way to decrease clipper activity (in order to have more dynamics for example), WITHOUT changing spectral balance? Should I ease down the MB2 output or should I lower the advanced clipper drive? I'm not too sure what the difference it makes with the bass clipper being between MB2 and clipper.
Thanks if you can help!

If you lower the output level of MB2 you would decrease the effect of the bass clipper. In a preset where the bass clipper is heavily used to control the bass this could have a noticeable effect. If you want as little change as possible I'd use the advanced clipper drive.

Actually best way is to set lower output from MB1 or drive on MB2 in that preset.

Thank you. In fact I don't know why I said Dynarider, because I was thinking Unreal Engine 3 HD version  I love the spectral balance of this one, but I find it a little bit too much "over-the-top". Any suggestion for this one?
