Stereo Tool

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to get that gentle AGC lifting sound on Stereo Tool like I can get on my Optimod 8400. You know, that sound of a fader slowly being turned up on a transition from one song to another with a quiet intro.

Can anyone point me in the right setting direction to achieve this in Stereo Tool? I’ve been trying for months, and just can’t get close to it. I find setting the release time too slow leaves awkward delay and then too much of an aggressive lift. Experimenting with max release time gets close, but not the gentle Orban sound.

This might be helpful. Having read over the 8700 manual on the section covering the AGC operations, this is as close as i could get to replicating that function in ST.
