Hello Matty13,

Can you be more specific in which features of the sound you want to copy?

For the same loudness and amount of bass, turn Bass Boost on, and set Loudness somewhere near 2.20. (If you set it lower you'll be able to get relatively more bass).
You might also need to set the AGC 'soft limit' slider a bit higher (in the next version, I'll make the default setting a bit higher to get a fuller sound: If you set 'soft limit' higher, the level of sound that goes into the multiband compressor is higher).

I have been messing around with Stereo Tool, what do you mean by the 'soft limit' because im using what you said with the noise reduction, phase rotator etc but the bars are going in the red when playing music.

I done this so far:

http://uploading.com/files/17bff87c/new ... essed.sts/

Although the top 2 bars go in the red sometimes, if i turn the sound down by 1.00db on sam broadcaster decks it disappears, is there anyway to like pre limit the sound down by 1.00db to stop them going in the red?

Also is there anyway to make the high's slightly louder so they are not 'taken over' by the bass?

Ok i have been trying Stereotool out for a long time now playing around with it, trying to get a sound i like and i have found one i like but i have an issue.

When i want to talk on a mic and the song lowers, stereotool boosts the song back up with its AGC so listeners can't hear me talking over songs, how do i fix this, is there anyway to make the AGC not boost the song up but more so just level them out constantly so this doesn't happen.

Thanks
Matt

Hello Matty,

I suppose you're not sending the microphone input through Stereo Tool then?

You could lower Pre Amp. That way, if the volume drops a lot, the AGC won't increase the volume that much (AGC *never* increases the volume, it only drops it if it's too loud.).

There's still an AGC gating feature on my todo list for a future version, when I have that working things will be a lot easier.
