In the Advanced Clipper under Volume Boost is a slider labeled "Relative non-FM loudness."
I see that the "Clipper Drive (loudness)" slider above it and the "Relative non-FM loudness" both affect the drive into the Advanced Clipper... what I'm not clear on is what the advantage of having one high and one low or visa-versa, or having them balanced, would be.
I also can't tell if it's better to lower the output of the Multiband 2 and raise the clipper drive, or raise the output of the Multiband 2 and lower the clipper drive, or again run both at, say, -6 db just as an example.
Can someone explain to me the purpose of the Relative non-FM loudness slider, and if there is any benefit to running the output / input / drive levels at one setting or another?
THANKS!!! I'm so thankful for this forum.
