Anyone know a few tricks within Stereo Tool in order to get a nice sub-bass "growl"? I've been playing with compressor ratios and attack times, delay (punch), plus adding True Bass. I either get too much boom or muddied lows. I've also tried playing with sidechain and dirty bass, but I'm not having much luck there, either. I can get a somewhat "fat" bottom, but it lacks that subtle but in your face growl/warmth. I've not found any presets that have that warmth I'm after...again, some are close, but just not quite there. I understand the Omnia has an actual control called "Growl". Apparently it's implemented within multiband AGC?

Thanks in advance!

I should have posted this question earlier, as I may have found one key to my above question - shortening the compressor release times to around 50ms for the two lowest bands. That seems to have gotten me closer.

Any other hints are appreciated. :-)
