Hi,
For microphone treatment, I want to replace Breakaway Live (no more update) By Stereotool ;-)
To have minimum latency what's the best settings and process to avoid ?
Sound card used: M-Audio Delta 44
Thanks
Stef

That, and set the Latency lower (512 or 1024, depending on how much latency you can handle).

OK Thanks for tips.
It's to use in live mode. If the latency is to much, the DJ is disturbing when he speak and have return to headset.
I have made test, we need absolutely activate 'LQ Low Latency' and set Buffer Size to 0.006 sec big max otherwise the radio presenter goes crazy ;-)

Then you really need low latency. Also do..
- Disable all filters that is not a-must
- Try to set soundcard latency to 128 even 64
- Use 'good' CPU

Quick question, what is considered a 'good' CPU for low latency processing?

In other words, what are the minimum CPU requirements to achieve this. I know that based on the CPU Benchmark website and the PC Selection topic, the minimum single thread rating has to be higher than 1000 to use StereoTool properly but it looks it needs to be even higher for low latency processing.
