Stereo Tool :: Two or more S.T. at the same P.C.

A fast modern i7 (4000-series) should be able to run at least 8 and probably even 16 instances of Stereo Tool (for streaming) without issues; for FM it's half that number. (Typical reported CPU load for streaming on such systems is around 3%, for FM with Composite Clipper and Stokkemask 6-7%).

As I wrote you today, please try out the new 7.70 version (you can get a beta at the forum or wait a few days until it's released). Its CPU load is lower, especially with some new presets that use the 'Analog' compressor mode in the multiband compressor(s).

But in your case it's indeed very likely a CPU load issue.

Hi , i run the radioboss with stand allown S.T. and everything works fine , from the same pc i must run one more radio channel so i instal one more radioboss at different location and works ok , the problem starts when i try to enable the s.t. like a plug in with main sound card , the cpu goes crazy at 99% and freeze all the system ! # i try with different versions of s.t. but the problem stays . do you have any tips ? ok maybe need a better pc ,anything else ?

Για σου πατριοτη... Ποια ειναι τα χαρακτηρηστικα του Η/Υ? (Cpu και OS); Εγω δεν εχω τα προβληματα που περιγραφεις οταν τρεχω 2 ST (standalone) μαζι.

Καλησπέρα , ειναι 99% σίγουρο οτι θελω καινούργιο υπολογιστή ! θα δοκιμάσω και με την νέα έκδοση και βλέπω. WIN XP PRO S.P.3 CORE 2 QUARD CPU Q 660 @ 2,4 GHZ 2,40 GHZ , 1,96GB RAM ευχαριστω
