Is a 64GB SSD too small for ST?

And which external sound card would you recommend if this could be a suitable computer? (I know, AMD...)

For ST you need about 20 MB free disk space. So, no!

The CPU is very slow, so don't expect to be able to run the complete processing on it. You might be able to use it for the last clipping step and RDS generation. Or, if you don't need FM, it might be sufficient for that.

(I took over my own thread... I don't like opening new threads if I can resuscitate old ones :-))

Assume I am using all the bells and whistles of the highest FM processing license of ST.
Should my CPU usage be right around 40%, 45% with overhead? About 6% in display.

HP dc7900, 3.0GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, Windows 7 Home into a Marian Trace Alpha. Nothing else running.

There are lots of different Core2Duo's, but 40% doesn't sound too extreme - depending on which one it is of course.

On my i7-4710 laptop the CPU load with everything enabled (incl. composite clipping and Stokkemask) is 7-8% in Task Manager.

OK. If it matters I have the Quality slider at 60%.
