What kind of hardware do you need for StereoTool to run smootly nowadays?
It doesn't seem to be satisfied with an E8500, nor with an overclocked G3258.
It barely works on my Macbook Pro 13.3" mid-2014 (i5-4278U, 8GB DDR3) and that's without FM declipper.

What would be required to run ST with all features enabled? I'm building a dedicated processing box with low power consumption, but at this point I think I better let go of the low power consumption requirement and just get myself a 4790K.

The Mac version might need more CPU power because I'm using a different compiler for Mac. I can tell you that it runs smoothly with all features enabled on my 3.5 year old 2.0 GHz i7 laptop (2630QM).

If you're using an older version: Get version 7.51. It uses a lot less CPU power than earlier versions.
