Sometime before the end of the year, I'm going to try to 'upgrade' my ST computer (Core2Duo!). Sound card is Marian Trace Alpha. Easiest for me would be simply to install ST on an existing i5... with an ESI Juli@. Any issues that I need to watch for? I've tested the Juli@ with, um, another processor and it was fine. |

I don't know any other difference with these two than that the Trace Alpha's output's are DC coupled, Juli@'s are not. Thus, Juli@ needs calibration, to mitigate tilt. |

Yes, thanks. FWIW using a different audio processor, the Juli@ sounded fine without having been calibrated. I may just stick with what works and move the MTA to a better CPU... |
